Today, WOODKSS – KCOI LLP have completed an important milestone within Tengizchevroil Future Growth Project-Wellhead Pressure Management Project (TCO FGP-WPMP) – the on-time SAILAWAY of the first two “REMOTE INSTRUMENT ENCLOSURES” denominated “RIE-9105” and “RIE-9106” to Tengiz.

This significant achievement is a testimony to the very close and fruitful collaboration between KCOI LLP and ROSETTI MARINO KAZAKHSTAN BRANCH with WOODKSS and TCO.

These two RIE’s form part of a contract awarded to KCOI LLP in June 2018 for the fabrication and fitting out of a total of ten similar units for the project. This project is the first of its kind in Kazakhstan!

KCOI LLP and ROSETTI MARINO KAZAKHSTAN BRANCH have managed and implemented the complete scope of work within this project covering materials procurement. This accomplishment proves that it is possible to manufacture top quality, complex and multidisciplinary high-tech modules including structural fabrication, architectural fit out, electrical and instrumentation (E&l), heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC), fire and gas and more, within Kazakhstan, employing local labor in excess of 95%, generating a new regional industry servicing the needs of the Oil and Gas industry, and ultimately to aid Kazakhstan’s self-sufficiency in building this type of technology.

Furthermore, KCOI LLP are delighted to announce that since the beginning of construction activities approximately one year ago, a total of 750,000 man-hours have been registered with ZERO LOST TIME INJURIES, underlining the full commitment of KCOI LLP to the Health and Safety of its personnel and protection of the local Environment.

Senior Management representatives of all companies involved attended the dedicated SAILAWAY CEREMONY organized by KCOI LLP at the quayside in “Temir At” Yard, together with participation of all yard workers and project team members.

During their speeches, the Senior Managers highlighted and complimented the outstanding yard safety record, high quality control standards and maximized local content, expressing confidence that the KCOI LLP “Temir-At” yard will be in a position to realize other important fabrication projects in the future.
